Paquetá was founded at June 20th, 1945, in Sapiranga, state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Nowadays, it is composed by several companies and business: footwear industry, footwear retailers, ranchs, estate enterprises, credit card managing, besides the management of Dumond-, Capodarte-, Diadora- and Ortopé brands.

Paquetá has its headquarters in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and units in more than 13 Brazilian states and in Argentina, in the city of Chivilcoy.

Paquetá has 18,000 direct employees and approximately 5,000 indirect ones.
